The sooner your flowers arrive, the better our chances of preserving them. Unfortuntely, older flowers may not survive the journey.
Following booking, I can provide my address details. Drop-off arrangements can also be made.
Fresh flower packing steps:
Keep them hydrated: Before packing, ensure your flowers are well-watered.
Secure the stems: Use cable ties or rubber bands to bundle the stems together.
Protect the stems: Wrap the cut ends with moist paper towels and then bubble wrap. Place them in a plastic bag and seal.
Protect the blooms: Cover the tops with newspaper to prevent damage. Avoid using plastic, as it can cause the flowers to sweat.
Pack carefully: Place the flowers in a sturdy wooden or cardboard box. Use packing peanuts or newspaper to cushion them and prevent movement.
Seal and label: Add a slip of paper with your name. Tape the box securely and mark it as 'Fragile' and 'This way up.'
Shipping: Choose Royal Mail guaranteed next-day delivery (ideally before 1pm) with tracking.
Dried flower packing steps:
Choose a sturdy box: Make sure it is large enough to accommodate the flowers without crushing them.
Wrap the flowers in tissue paper: This will help to protect them from damage during shipping.
Pack out the box: Use paper and cardboard to make sure the flowers don’t move around in transit.
Seal and label the box: Add a slip of paper with your name. Make sure it is securely closed and mark as “Fragile” and “This way up”.

The drying and preservation process can subtly alter the original colour of your flowers. This is a natural occurrence and a result of the drying process. While I employ high-quality silica sand to retain the shape and vibrancy of your blooms, some color shifts are to be expected.
Light pink flowers may transition to a soft shade of lilac.
Dark pink and blue flowers may deepen to a shade of purple.
Red roses often transform into a deep burgundy hue when dried and encased in resin.
White flowers are particularly delicate and may shift to an off-white, cream, or even yellow color.
Pastel-colored flowers may develop translucent areas when preserved in resin.
High water content flowers such as orchids and lilies, may experience more significant color changes or even some degree of shrinkage during the drying process.
The drying success can vary depending on the flower type. If your arrangement features a single flower type or if you have concerns about the suitability of your flowers, please do not hesitate to contact me.
For clients who prefer to maintain the original colour of their flowers as closely as possible, I offer the option of colour correction using professional-grade spray paints. This technique can help to restore or enhance the original colour of dried flowers, minimising the impact of natural color shifts. Please discuss this option with me during your consultation to determine if it is suitable for your specific floral arrangement.

Each resin piece is handcrafted with meticulous care, however, due to the nature of working with this medium, minor imperfections may occur. These include, but are not limited to:
Micro-bubbles: Small air pockets that may appear within the resin.
Dust inclusions: Tiny specks of dust that may become trapped during the casting process.
Uneven edges: Slight irregularities in the edges of the piece.
Small cavities: Tiny holes that may form during the curing process.
Layer lines: Visible lines within the resin, especially in deeper pieces, resulting from the layering process.
These characteristics are not considered defects but rather hallmarks of the handmade nature of the artwork.
Caring for Colouration
Over time, all resin may develop a subtle amber tint due to exposure to UV light. This is a natural aging process and can enhance the vintage aesthetic of your piece.
To minimise ambering, display your artwork out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
To further minimise ambering, I offer the option of UV-coating your piece. Please enquire with me to discuss this option further.
Quality Assurance:
I strive for the highest quality in every piece I create. In the rare event that resin overheating occurs during the casting process, resulting in damage to your flowers, I will work with you to find the best possible solution, which may include a partial/full refund, a discount, or a replacement piece.
Please note: By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the inherent characteristics of handmade resin art as described above.
